GWYDION LEVINEGARD
"The flames of agony shall burn the bones of my enemies!"
Name:Gwydion Levinegard
Origin:Wish Maker
Class:Narcissist
Age:16
Faction: Kamihama Magia Union
Gender:M
Height / Weight:172 cm/ 58kg
Appearance:
Gwydion is a teenager of average height, with a lean build, honey-coloured eyes and messy black hair. What would be notable of this young man from the ancient house of Levinegard, however, is his stoic face. One would mistake him for being emotionless, and rightly so, since he doesn’t usually show his true feelings.
During his time as a noble, he wore a two-toned long-sleeved shirt, the middle part was dark coloured, either black or red, while the main colour was light. It also had a high collar with golden trimmings around the edges with a chain locking both ends of the collar together. The bottom was a pair of pants of light coloured fabric, the same as the top, and is complemented with a pair of brown boots. A black robe with blue fur trimmings is also worn over the outfit.
When he realised, he had woken up to a modern society, he tried to blend in by wearing a more modern clothing in the form of a black turtleneck and light brown shorts paired with a dark socks and boots.
When he became a warlock, he was able to transform back into his noble outfit of his time.
Motivations:
Devastated by the death of his family,he vowed to search for the people responsible for such an unfortunate event. Although, he had woken up a few centuries later, he was determined to track down their lineage and avenge his kinship. Whatever it takes.
Personality:
Despite his vengeful resolve, Gwydion is a quiet, emotionless, and calm lad. He is always deep in thought, carefully contemplating his actions, especially during a fight. Patient, he does not get irritated or intimidated by others, though, he can be frustrated easily by his own mistakes and carelessness at times.
Introverted, and passive towards others. He could be friendly, though he’d not be the one to initiate a conversation. Oblivious towards others’ affections, even those who’d swoon over his charm.
Backstory:
It was said that the Wish Makers existed ever since civilisation began, and was then the reason for many innovations and progress humanity has made throughout history. The use of fire, or stoneage weapons, clothes, armors, cars, planes, fighter jets, were said to have been influenced by these mysterious mages.
Yet power is a two-sided coin, and as much as the wish makers had been a great help to human history, they had also been that small fire that sparked countless bloody wars since the beginning of time.
Fourteenth Century England was not excused from this futile bloodbath.
With the help of the legendary magical girl, Jeanne d’Arc, the French were able to seize back most of the lands in the French territory except one: Gascony, thanks to the help of the noblehouse of Levinegard, who owned the fiefdom.
Levinegard Coat of Arms
However, protecting the remaining English land was no easy task, as they were being surrounded by the French on every side, it would only take a matter of time before the last standing English territory fell into the hands of their enemies.
It was during these desperate times that Lady Auberta Levinegard was approached by a companion, a cat/ rabbit like-creature from outside the world, who according to "itself" was able to grant any wish. Being in her early teens, she did not wish for anything except the safety of her family. Such an innocent mind was taken advantage of by the companion, convincing her to make a wish in order to protect her family. She agreed, thus, became one among the many magical girl soldiers the King of England used against their French invaders.
There were times of peace, and times of wailing as the war raged on for a few decades more. By some miracles, Lady Auberta was able to survive past the normal age of magical girls during her time and was able to give birth to a son, even.
The house of Levinegard endured a few more years of battle, facing the same threat on every corner of their land. Until France became stronger than ever before.
Using a powerful witch under their control, which was rumoured to be the once-magical girl Jeanne D’arc, the French kingdom was determined to secure the last English territory in France. French armies stormed the land, the all-powerful witch backed up the soldiers. How she became corrupted was a mystery, however, rumour has it, that she came back to life as an eerie strong witch after being persecuted and burned in the stake.
Her witch form, a storm of fire burned the territories owned by the English nobles. Blood watered the ground as the townsfolks tried to defend themselves to no avail. The castle of Levinegard was not exempted from the devastation, most of the members of the said royal house either died in the hands of the French army or the destructive power of the witch. Gwydion, the prince who was then merely 15 years old, witnessed the grim fate of their lineage in his own eyes.
Lady Auberta, wanting to preserve their lineage, escaped into the forest together with her son, searching for a stronghold she could use to utilise what magic was left and cryofreeze the only heir to the throne. He was reluctant at first of course, but she used her magic to force him into a deep slumber, and cryofreeze him until the "right time".
Meanwhile, the French moved forward to the North, in an attempt to conquer all of the English lands.
Fast forward to a few more centuries later, the frozen ruins in the forest of Gascony melted, and the remaining prince of Levinegard awakened.
Driven by his instincts to check on his family, he returned to the ruined castle owned by their noblehouse, only to find out he had woken to a different era.
The fashion, the streets, the technology. Everything was very different from his time. Amongst the significant changes he observed, what was most striking was the peace that seemed to have developed over the years. There were no more wars? He felt surprised. It was the first time during his lifetime that he did not have to worry about his life. He would not be awakened by the catapults crashing over their forts, nor by the clanging of swords, and spears against each other. There were no more deafening noises of cannons or wailings of hurt soldiers. …Which was great, supposedly, except that he couldn’t accept his family’s fate. As a noble of great dignity, this was rather unacceptable. To live, and yet carry the shame of a defeated ruler. He must avenge them and regain their pride.
If people could use magic just as they did in the past, it was not impossible that it would still be a practice even today. Thinking of the possibility that there might be some survivors on the enemy’s side too, he set out on a journey to find them. Wherever that may lead him.
He went from city to city, starting off from the most familiar ones he could remember. He even snuck into different transport vessels should he need to travel a great distance.
Struggling to survive in a fast-paced era, he did what he could to continue on living. He sold everything that was left of him, except the necklace that was gifted to him by his mother.
A year has passed without progress, except for being a bit more knowledgeable of this strange new world.
Until by the mercy of fate, Gwydion met the same creature his mother contracted. He did not need to be convinced, once the cat-like beast explained to him what happened in the past, how he was able to survive, how he can give justice to the death of his family, he accepted the offer of becoming a Warlock.
Thus, his journey had begun…
Call to Action:
Gwydion did not understand how he managed to survive the war. He could remember being put to sleep and being cryofrozen but to wake up a few centuries after, he considered it a miracle. Seeing an opportunity to gain power to avenge his loved ones, he took the offer of forging a contract with a companion, eventually becoming a warlock.

WISH AND AESTHETIC
Wish: "I wish to be the storm my family's enemies fear."
Aesthetic: Elemental
A rarer aesthetic, born out of the most primal wishes and the ones with the most direct connection to expressions of the natural world. Fire, earth, water, air, ice, wind, lightning, metal- whatever the primal element, it defines and influences all aspects of Wishmaker's wardrobe and power. Flame-rimmed hood, a staff of ice-like crystal, a suit of armour carved out of rock- these are all examples of the primal Elemental aesthetic.
The wishes that give birth to such flavour are often equally direct and specific- a Hero wanting enough water to quench the thirst of their whole village, a Narcissist wanting fire to consume their enemies, an Outsider who wishes to become one with the wind- these are just some of the many direct ways an Elemental aesthetic might be invoked.
