KMU MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE OFFICE, KUKAE HAVEN, MIZUNA WARD"Say hello to Tanaka-san for me once you get there, okay?" Kagami Katou waved goodbye at the newly minted KMU member as the latter filed out of the office door. That one had just gotten her papers and chosen Tonigawa Haven in the Eastern area. That's what she was doing today. Handing out Haven openings. Her uncle owned this apartment building, and thanks to some persuasion on her part and some other helpful Stewards, he agreed to let her convert this extra storage room into something of a makeshift office for her own use. It was working out so far. As soon as the door shut, the Membership Committee Leader allowed herself to fall face flat on the desk in a moment of rest. It wasn't that she hated the work. Otherwise she wouldn't have volunteered to take this responsibility out of all the others she could have gotten involved with. There were simply so many new members coming in these days. And sometimes, you just need to take a break. The intercom on her desk squawked. "Senpai, the next recruit is ready to see you."Kagamin sighed, her finger pushing down on the button. "Give me another minute. I'll let you know when to give the go ahead."With that, the eager if beleaguered welcome wagon made a quick trip to the powder room to freshen up. A bit of foundation to cover up those nasty eyebags, and she was good enough for it. Just a few more recruits, and she could finally call it a day and hit the town, right in time for Sally the Hex's concert. It was a strange coincidence. The Scooby Committee had investigated her thoroughly and she was decidedly not a Puella Magi. Why use such a stage name that sounded like it was right out of a Wishmaker's playbook? That was all it could have been though, right? A coincidence? Kagamin sat back down in her chair and, taking a deep breath, buzzed the secretary's desk. "Okay, Ruki-chan. Send them in."She steepled her fingers and reclined slightly, to show a relaxed, welcoming disposition. Who would this one be, she wondered...

Another happy recruit in the Kamihama Magia Union stepped out the door. After a wait in the corridor that was repurposed as the waiting room for the makeshift Membership Committee office, it was finally Kin's turn to go inside. The email he received as an introduction to his new life in the Union, after he signed up at the recommendation of his Companion, informed him that he can take a place in one of its numerous Havens to live alongside fellow Wishmakers and gain access to their facilities. Though the home he and Mikoto used to live in was not particularly terrible, the chance of moving out sounded appealing - why not give it a go?
The usual bureaucratic anxiety washed over Kin over and over during the wait. It was the first time he had to handle something this big himself - save for the times when he and Mikoto would pester their uncle to handle the bureaucracy for school and similar, it didn't really come about. Brief nightmares of horrific bureaucrats sitting behind desks, analyzing every single mistake he made in his online form, flashed in his mind, but he cleared them away with a shake of his head.
It shouldn't go that poorly. Right? Kin copied and printed his online form for the Haven just in case, even though it wasn't necessary, and stood up from his seat once the door to the office opened.
"Right, I'm here," Kin spoke up once his name was announced, and stepped into the office. To his surprise - though he avoided showing it - the person behind the desk was not a scary old man, but a girl about as old as he was.
"Um, nice to meet you... I'm here for the Haven submission."

"Good afternoon, Kouhai!" Kagamin raised a hand in greetings as she flashed her practised smile. Not that she wasn't bubbly before taking on this work, but sometimes her friends would tell her that her smiles looked awkward. So she had to fix that. "It's nice to finally meet you in person, Nishimine-san," she stood up and bowed, offering him one of the chairs in front of her desk. "Please, have a seat!"She waited for him to act on that before getting back in her own chair. "I saw your reply to my email, and your aim is spot on!" she clicked her tongue and "shot" a finger gun in his direction with a wink. "The Kamihama Magia Union exists to help our fellow Wishmakers to get used to our exciting - but also dangerous - new life after making our wish! Unlike the world outside the city, you don't have to fight alone. We're all comrades here. And so...!"The apartment building's Steward cleared her throat and paused for a moment. "That's why this next step is helping you find a Haven as you said. It's not just a place to stay. Your fellow tenants will become your teammates, and hopefully, a new extended family of sorts." The Union had only been around for six months, its members' efforts were paying off. New Wishmakers would join, some of them with the potential to become Steward to a new Haven. And so far, there were few if any mismatches. The statistics were in the high nineties percent that your first Haven would be a great fit. Part of Kagami's job was to make sure that those numbers stayed high, even improve them when possible. "Alright then, let's get started. I sent you a few choices in the email. If you've picked any of them, we can get your papers started. But if not..."The peppy middle schooler opened her drawer and pulled out a tablet with a reasonably long list on it. "Then we can look up the other Havens and see if we can find the right one for you!"Nishimine Kin

Kagami's sudden friendliness briefly took Kin off guard, but he quickly adapted, and, once the chair of the Membership Committee offered a hand to him, he accepted and flashed a faint smile himself. Once offered to take a seat for their conversation, he sat down on the other side of the desk, occasionally tapping his feet from the anxiety. The cheerful introduction did a lot to take the initial edge off, but Kin was still naturally concerned for whether the rest of the talk will go as well.
Perhaps he should assume the best of her, though, and not that she is only using this happiness as a lure to suddenly eat him.
Kagami began with his answer on the application form, expressing her assurance that the Union will be exactly what he needs to provide for his aims - to become the best Wishmaker, the best hero, he could ever possibly be.
"Thank you, I am glad you did not find the answer too cheesy..." Kin answered her, scratching the back of his head in slight awkwardness. He was, after all, not in the best headspace when he filled the application out - at that time, it had been less than 24 hours since he made his Wish, learned the unfortunate fate of Mikoto, and realized what he could possibly accomplish with these new magical powers. "Thank you, miss Kagami."
Was it right to call someone likely younger than you "miss"? Well, she does technically outrank him here and is in a position of authority, so...
Moving on from Kin's answer to the question on the email, Kagami continued onto the Haven application. Indeed, he had received a list of potential Havens which had plenty of open rooms and were welcoming new recruits, and briefly browsed through. Of course, every single one made sure to advertise themselves, presenting themselves as the best, which made it difficult to figure out where he'd best fit in exactly. So, asked on whether he had chosen a Haven already, Kin mumbled an "Ummm..." and then replied:
"Well, I looked through the list... and I guess, I both picked some and I haven't yet. There were a few which caught my attention, but I haven't been able to choose between them. I've thought about Kainjo Haven in Kamihama South, Saimamaki Haven in the North... oh, and also Kukae Haven. But I can't really glean exactly which would be the best for me from just the adverts."

Meanwhile, in the waiting room, Yume Moriko, a new magical girl, flew though the doors and crashed on the floor with an "OOF! Ugh...Ok, note to self, don't try a flight in my normal boring form, I don't even look good while doing it." The room is in a nice rose pink and blue coloring, with various colored chairs around the room. She sits down as she examines the room: there seem to be refreshments, how lovely! and there is a gaming console in another room, most likely for other people to use...but... It has No Shanghai. No Shanghai at all. Nothing in this room or building says anything about JUN's mighty creation...how sad. How sad indeed. How do these girls live without Shanghai? do they even live, or merely survive? she will need to fix this, She should- NO! she MUST do reveal to them god's mighty voice and words...but at the moment, she has nothing better to do it seems.
she hums one of her god's perfect songs. before deciding she will play a game while waiting for something to happen. she takes out her phone and starts up 'Shanghai Forgotten word' A gacha game in the world of Shanghai.

With the help of a Companion and a few minutes of arguing with a English lad he met earlier, Seiichi was just happy that he made it to the Haven without wasting so much time. So while Hachibey hops off of his shoulder, Seiichi would take a seat next to the girl with the blonde hair after he enters the waiting room. The grey colored creature climbs up the chair and rests on the glasses boy's lap. The Warlock looks around to see that the room not only have a nice color combination of blue and pink. He noticed the gaming room. At least there'll be some entertainment if he gets really bored.
Not to mentioned the vending machine. Good! he could use a nice bottle of the famous drink MORNING RESCUE when given the chance. He just hopes now that he'll be able to sign up and finds a nice place to call home. Because he hates the idea of spending every day before Hex hunting doing nothing but living in some cardboard box or some abandoned building...
"You look nervous, Seiichi,,'
Seiichi looks at his Companion, whos staring back with a emotionless expression..
"I'm fine, Hachi. Though I wish I brought myself a suit or a more nicer shirt if I knew we have to enter an office."
The Warlock chuckles a bit. He's sure he'll be alright as long he makes a good first impression. Though deep down, he's a bit nervous about this whole thing..

"Not at all, Nishimine-san," Kagamin waved off the concern as he thanked her. "The pleasure is mine". Everyone here was still honestly rather young, anywhere from middle to high school. Her uncle would often tell her about how the world was not a fun place and how if you weren't careful, it would crush your innocent dreams. Well, ever since becoming a Puella Magi and joining the KMU, her uncle's advice was repeatedly proven right. Part of her fight here was in protecting the dreams of those who signed on. "There are no wrong answers. No matter how cringey you might think it sounds, it's still your honest answer to our honest question."There were a number of Havens presenting themselves on the email. It wasn't that these were the biggest and best. For each week, the new member email would rotate a new batch from the current registry of Havens. Although inclusion in the email was optional. Satoka Haven, a large dormitory - previously an elementary school - over in the adjacent Shinsei Ward, didn't advertise. Probably because they let their talent and word of mouth speak for themselves. If anyone wanted to join them, they would have to prove themselves first. Kagamin listened as Kin gave the names of the Havens he was considering, including Kukae itself. "Oh, well that's very touching that you'd consider our Haven! We do need a lot of help with the number of new members we're getting, as sure as you've seen outside."The line had been a long one, just like today. But he had other choices, and she was not going to force him to pick them if he fancied the rest. Kagami composed herself and cleared her throat, noting the two Havens just mentioned and pulled out a map of the city to help as a reference. "Saimamaki Haven, as you might have noticed from their picture, is a small condo building in Hokuyou Ward, way up North, yes. It's true that the community is safe with lower than usual crime rates. But they leave out the part where living costs are higher because it's prime real estate. You don't have to pay rent, but to get good prices, you'll have to go down to Sankyou Ward. Most of the Hex activity comes from depression. Some parents are really demanding and stress for students in the area is high. The team is friendly, but since they're all upper class, they can be a little insensitive when it comes to issues like spending. They won't force you to go watch a movie in YMAX with them. They'll even pay for your ticket since they're so nice. But their money sense is pretty tone deaf, and they'll go watch a movie in YMAX even though they have a hundred inch TV in the private lounge and it's available on WebFlix." Live big, spend big, perhaps. Or maybe that's their coping mechanism for depression. "They do a good job, though, and put up quite well with the work. Which aside from Hexes, is catching people throwing themselves off buildings, bridges, or just plain hanging themselves... It's hard in its own way and takes a keen sense of getting to know other people and keeping an ear open for gossip about someone locking themselves up for a long time or acting erratic."Her finger moved down to the opposite end of the map, down south. "Kainjo Haven is all the way down here in Minagi Ward. It's the port area, and the Yakuza claiming it as their territory make a killing with their racketeering scheme, fencing stuff they steal from the incoming cargo ships. Kainjo is a small apartment complex. Four-door single-story quadruplex with some gardening space, a wall with the Steward's office/unit in one corner, and a gate. They have to work extra hard to fortify their position against both Wings of Magius attacks and any thugs who might think their place is easy pickings. Because of the living conditions, everyone's a bit rough around the edges, and a bit cynical. I know they've already killed normal people before in self-defence. But they refuse to move out. I don't know if it's because they're competing with other Havens in the ward on some score to get the most Hex kills or something. But there's a delicate balance in the area, and if any one Haven there decides to pack up and move wards, there's a real chance of Hex overrun. That's on top of how they seem to be encouraging violent crimes with their curses. The... upside, for lack of a better word, is that a lot of Hexes is a lot of seeds to go around, and they make regular deposits to the Seed Fund."Kagami pulled out a pack of cookies from her drawer, took one, and set it down on the table, gesturing to offer some. "And that's the real score behind those two, past the warm invitations. I'd say both have their own challenges and opportunities."
Matsuda Ruki Ruki was a quiet girl. Unassuming and dutiful. Leave her sitting behind a book and she would eat up a thousand page brick in a few hours. So why did she get the job of serving as the Steward's secretary? Well, it was a rotation-based duty, and today was her turn. It wasn't too different from most days, given how long the interviews took. Most of the time she would be reading quietly while other new members got to know each other in the waiting room. After she had sent the new Warlock inside, there were a couple of girls who were chatting up about the latest upcoming Sally the Hex concert. Having seemingly grown impatient, they said they'd be back in a few minutes and stepped out to get some ramen. The waiting room was empty. For now, she could enjoy her book. That silence did not last long, as another girl came flying through the door. Ruki set her book down and watched quietly. There was a certain manic energy about this one, yes. But more importantly, she was new. Very new, it seemed. And now, a couple of other Warlocks stepped in, along with a Hachibey-type Companion. Well, the day really wasn't over yet. "Welcome to Kukae Haven," she nodded. "Kagamin-senpai is currently seeing someone. Please write your names down on the registry, and enjoy our amenities for now while waiting for your turn. I'll call you when that time comes."

Yume heard her name and jumped off her seat stretching a bit with a yawn.
"Hello! I am Moriko! Why is there no Shanghai around?"
she cocked her head and started to write on the registry
"Oh yeah! I think I heard about 'Kagamin-senpai' in an email or something, she told me to come down sometime! Well, I'd rather do it now than later! hehehe. I can wait all day!"
she turns around before seeing Seichi and suddenly walked up to him!
"Whoa! Hai there!" A girl waved friendly
"You are a magical...boy? Cool! I am Moriko!" she nods. She does however give an odd look to his companion.
"Uhhhhhh? whose that?" she said, poking the red youkai in the face in a rapid, but gentle speed "Boop!"
It looks...dangerously close to the being that she was tricked into selling her soul to...weird...
"Is...Is it friendly and trustworthy? I hope it is."
She closes her eyes for a moment, before opening them and looking at both the warlock and the magical girl.
"OH! Yeah! I just remembered what I was going to say! Ok, so, have you heard of Shanghai, new pals? It's amazing! it's salvation! it's divine! it's perfect! perfect songs! perfect, life giving art! JUN is divine above! :3"
She smiles happily.

After expressing her joy at Kin considering her own Haven, Kagami went on to explain what the other two Havens he was considering had to offer. Saimamaki was a small condo building established in prime real estate in the Northern districts, surrounded by blocks where crime was infrequent or almost nonexistent, but plenty of anxiety, worry and depression went around to cause suicides or the birth of new Hexes. Hearing about it was quite depressing as well, and Kin briefly shook his head to drive away thoughts of having to barge into someone's bedroom to stop them from hanging themselves.
Kainjo differed from Saimamaki like night and day. It was near the sea, in Yakuza territory and fortified, where the Wishmakers holed up were veterans trying to grind as many Hex Seeds from the surrounding districts as possible, sometimes even at the cost of civilian lives. The upside, if you could even call it that, was that the surrounding districts also had a lot of Hexes to hunt and destroy for Seeds, moreso than in the more peaceful Northern districts.
"I see..." Kin muttered. Of course, neither of the adverts emphasized much of this. Saimamaki made note of the welcoming community and neighbourhood, and the wide access of shops and amenities in Kamihama North that a Union member residing there can reach on a few minutes' walk, while the Kainjo booklet was full of comments from interviewed members of the Haven who all emphasized the action and excitement of working together and battling the forces of evil. But that's exactly why he asked someone who's been in the Union for months on the information that these advertisements didn't add.
If he had to choose from those two... uh...
"Wait, what about your Haven? Kukae, I mean," Kin suddenly brought up after a brief pause in thought. He picked up a cookie from the tray offered to him by Kagami. "So, from what I understand, the people living here are in the Membership Committee... so what is it that you do? Besides just assigning people to their Havens of choice, I mean."

Seiichi kept sitting down and waiting until he sees the nice looking green haired girl speaking to him and the blonde haired girl next to him.
"Oh thank you, Miss!"
But just when the glasses boy stands up after Hachibey jumps up to his shoulder and heads up to the registry to sign his name, he was greeted by the sight of the strange blonde girl speaking to him and Ruki. Seiichi was confused when the fellow Wishmaker asks him about Hachibey while she rapidly pokes his unfazed face.
"Oh, Hachi? He's my Companion? You know, the creatures that grants our wishes in exchange for magical power?"
But then this girl decides to switch topics and asks him and the secretary about...Shanghai? Seiichi thinks back to see if he has ever heard about what this girl is talking about. At first, he thought Moriko is talking about one of the popular cities in the country of China. But when she mentions the name JUN, that's when he now realizes that this girl is just a very excited fan girl.
"Oh? You mean those bullet hell games? I actually played them before. Though..i wished i haven't stared on Legacy of Insane Kingdom. But you asking? Im taken you're a super fan of the games?"
Seiichi had a slight flashback of crying into his pillow after losing to a evil fairy from hell shooting stars at him many many times. A memory that he wishes to get rid of forever...
"Anyway. It's nice to meet you, Moriko san. I'm Seiichi Koike. I'm guessing you're here to sign up for the Union?"

Yume smiled! someone HAS played them! hope exists as much as her god! her wonderful, wonderful god!
Though...companion? she cocks her head at the youkai: "Oh, really? yours must be nicer than mine, he tried to tricked me really badly" she huffed. "A real vile Youkai, but thankfully a nice robe girl revealed the truth about him and told me to go here! she was rather shakey, but hey! it's all good, but enough about the Youkai, onto Shanghai!"
She smiled, wait, a companion tried to trick her? Is there a traitor amongst the Companions?
"SO! who is your favorite Shanghai Character? Since you played Legacy of insane kingdom, is it Red-White? Black-White? Kachiyo Seina? one of the rabbits? Junko, the vengeful spirit? the goddess of hell? Pierrotpiece, the Fairy from hell? Personally, I have too many favorites! I love them all! Shanghai is the best and it's divine creator has blessed the world! JUN is truly a god living amongst us mortals! he who is of a creator god!"
Oh god, NOW YOU REMEMBER THE FAIRY'S NAME!
"Oh, And about joining? I think I already did, but I am here to talk about a haven! or whatever! It's nice to meet you!"

It was easy to get lost in such an urbanised city especially during rush hours. Gwydion was sure he had an understanding with the glasses guy Seiichi that they would go together to this “haven” his companion was talking about. But for some reason, as they were walking away from the park, he had lost their presence somehow at the influx of people in the busy streets of Kamihama North. He had no idea where to find this… haven, and the best thing he could do was to ask his companion, although they pretty much agreed it would let him do his own thing. Well, it couldn’t be helped. Desperate times call for desperate measures as they said. Of course, the companion was able to detect its contractor, so he appeared before him as the lad tried to find his way. “You’re heading the wrong direction, Gwy…”The boy merely glanced at the alien cat. He was aware nobody could see it apart from warlocks and wishmakers, and he’d rather not make a fool of himself by talking with an invisible creature. “You forgot we can use telepathy… But never mind that. You should go to the station, and board a train going to the West of the City. I’ll tell you more when we get there…”Of course. Telepathy. It was a rather odd form of communication, but perhaps he should be starting to get used to “odd things”. After all, being a warlock was definitely a weirdly “odd thing”. Having your body separated with its soul, which was now enclosed in a gem. It felt like he was alive, and yet wasn’t; and weirdly a lot stronger despite the pilot living outside its fragile shell. Gwydion boarded the train, and as he sat by the window, also took time to observe the city from the long rail cart. Looking back to his own time, it was truly unimaginable to see the world this peaceful. At least, that's how he had seen it so far. He could hear some international news from each of the places he had visited, minor conflicts, usually what they called cyber-attacks. He was not sure what that word meant since he had no one to ask; and as someone pretty new to this generation, he had never touched what they call a computer. He still got shocked at some weird technologies, except those he already encountered and made use of, such as these amazing transport vehicles. He could have lived peacefully and gotten used to this era. But here he was, chasing another war. Otherworldly, it might seem, but one that really mattered to him. Once he got off the train, his companion Sanbey would finally give him some other instructions, and head off as soon. The creature would disappear again, and leave him alone. It was quite different from what he had imagined what a haven would look like, perhaps, it was named a bit fictional for something looking as ordinary as an apartment building. Regardless, he made his way through, and looked for the office. Hopefully, it wouldn’t be so hard finding it. [528/528] Ichibey:kagamin Nishimine Kin Koike Seichi Yume Moriko

"Us? Oh, well..." Kagamin took a moment to collect her thoughts, munching on her cookie as she did. "The Membership Committee handles organising connections between Havens. Every month, we go out and survey them and see how they're doing. We also organise meetups between Havens in the same wards so that they get to know each other better." It sounded trivial, but her uncle always taught her that one secret behind good business was good relationships. Sure, not everybody liked going to those parties either, but it was another respite from the hard work of being a Wishmaker. How could having a little fun downtime be bad, right? They even made sure their venues had quiet adjacent rooms for the introverts to read books, play games, or other things introverts would do for fun. Fortunately, there were a few on the committee, so she had some helpful guides. "If someone wants to learn a new spell, and they need a specific kind of environment, we can find them a Haven with the right facilities and the willingness to do let a guest train for a while." If you were learning something particularly destructive, there was Satoka Haven. If you needed a moving target, Tarata Haven had a number of defensive specialists who wouldn't mind volunteering. They could also teach you some defensive spells themselves. "And in general, we keep track of how strong everyone's getting. The Security Committee gets in touch with us if they want to organise an attack on a Wings of Magius hideout. We give them contact details of members we think would fit their mission requirements, and they give them a call to see if they want in."Kagamin offered another cookie and reclined into her seat. "There are other duties too relating to keeping information on all the members organised. Mizuna Ward is pretty old. It has a lot of historical sites and architecture, so it's a bit of a tourist trap. Crime rates aren't too high, but neither are things like depression. So as far as things go, we're kind of in the middle of the road. Hex activity is relatively stable here, but we do have to watch out for the Wings of Magius. For some reason they make incursions here a bit more often than the surrounding Wards. That's everything I've got off the top of my head."Her eyes wandered toward the tablet with the list of off-rotation Havens. Not a lot of people asked about Kukae. Probably because they didn't like getting involved with the Membership Committee, which was understandable. Who would want to do all this tedious stuff on top of fighting Hexes and putting up the appearance of a normal school life? "We do have some of the games available in our game room. If you would like, I can have them set up for you while you wait."Ruki had seen her share of eccentrics. But someone who was very deeply into a game was unusual, to say the least. An almost religious fervency coated her words as she exchanged greetings with the other new arrival. Decoding what she said, between youkai, her reaction to the companion - a Hachibey type - and her description of a third party, created the impression that the Wings of Magius were spreading their lies again. The Companions had made sure to explain everything, of course. That the Magius had their pawns under some very seedy propaganda. That this same propaganda was being spread by certain low level initiates among the many Wishmakers flocking to Kamihama City in order to bolster their numbers. Or worse, deceive freshly contracted Wishmakers into joining them. In which case... what was she doing here? More to the point, the Warlock, at least, was more straightforward. Tall with glasses one would expect from those serious types. In anime, they would even become extremely reflective when they pushed them upward for some reason. Well, this was real life, so that was not something to expect. "Should I have a setup for two then?"That was when another Warlock stepped through the door. He looked like another tall dark quiet type too. How did she know? The apartment was fully occupied, and there were other places available in the area. No reason you would inquire here. There were strict rules in place to inform the front desk if guests were coming. But most importantly, there was a spell around the complex's perimeter that rang like a wind chime whenever a soul gem passed through it. "Good afternoon and welcome to Kukae Haven. If you're here to see Kagamin-senpai, she's currently meeting with someone. Please just sign your name here, and wait for your turn. We have games, books, or if you would like, our Vending Machines have Morning Rescue."Koike Seichi Nishimine Kin Yume Moriko Gwydion Levinegard

"W-Well.."
"I.."
Poor Seiichi. His first conversation with a magical girl who turn out to be a super fan of a series of indie bullet hell shooters! Just so many questions, yet so little time to answer them all. He turns to his Companion on his shoulder, who just stares back with that same blank expression. Hachibey just has no interest in this conversation at all. But how can Seiichi answer all of Moriko's questions without looking like a total jackass!? The last thing he wants rights now is to hurt a girl's feelings all because he didn't know much about the Shanghai games he haven't played for a long time. So he calms down a little before he tries to answer her questions the best he can in a more polite manner.
"Even though i haven't played much Shanghai games for a long time. I couldn't help but admire the lore and story telling behind the simple and difficult bullet hell gameplay. But since it's been awhile, the only character i can think of is that ridiculous hell hair Pierrotpiece."
Hachibey didn't bother to join in/ He was too busy wondering about this Companion Moriko is talking about. A companion who tricks people into making a contract? That's impossible! Incubators always make contracts with humans with their consent. So either there really is a traitor amongst the Companions, or this human girl is just displaying a form of illogical behavior. It seems the grey colored furrball now has to deal with two mysteries that requires further investigation. The witch that can travel a long distance and lives longer than most of it's kind, and a companion who tricks humans into making a contract. This is something he should discuss in a meeting with companions in the future. But he'll refrain such thoughts from Seiichi, he needs to give the boy the opportunity to become strong enough to find this so called truth he seeks so much. To see the end of the mystery behind his father's murder once and for all! But it'll be hard to keep a secret since Seiichi is quite the intelligent Human
"A-anyway. I'm looking forward to working with you. Though there's a chance we might live in different Havens. But i hope the Union has some means of communication such as a private server in social media or a chatroom."
He says all this while pushing up his glasses. Since this is real life, the reflection on the spectacles didn't shine for a second.

Once he arrived at the door, a green haired girl noticed him and immediately greeted him. So, It seems he made it to the right place. Though, a Kagamin-senpai… Kagamin-senpai… For a moment, the name played a few times in his head like a broken record… Oh. right. The one who gave them the letters. “Y-yes. I am, ma’am,” he’d do as instructed and sign his name on the registration. “I’ll be fine just looking around.” Now where is this Seiichi guy… he mentioned he would be going here too. If that was the case, they could continue their interrupted conversation earlier, before he got lost. It was not too large a room. There was a blonde girl who seemed to wear a smug smile, passionately talking about some things he never heard about. Modern earth had some weird stuff going on. Earlier he just passed by a group of people wearing hair wigs of different colour, wearing odd costumes while holding makeshift weapons. To some, they may be called deviant, but it seems they already have a subculture of their own. Glancing around further, he’d notice glasses guy who were talking with the smug-smiled blonde. Of course, he wanted to greet him. Though ultimately reserved as he was, he merely sat across them and waited. [220/748] Nishimine Kin Koike Seichi Yume Moriko Ichibey:kagamin
